These four components create constant reinforcement of your messaging to prospects so that when you are ready to ask them to take action and to 'invest now,’ they have seen you everywhere, have established a relationship with you (even though they’be never met you!) and have built a sense of trust and familiarity in you so that they become predisposed to invest with you when you ask them to.

The first thing a prospect is going to do when they hear your name is look you up on Google and the first thing that pops up there is your LinkedIn profile.

Why does that happen?

It's because LinkedIn is massive and their algorithm is so strong that the first thing that shows up is going to be your profile. And so that's the first thing that somebody is going to click on and that’s why you HAVE TO HAVE a resonant message there that speaks directly to your value proposition and how it will benefit the reader.

You want to be hitting prospects hard with your messaging at that place because it is the first impression they’re going to get about you so it’s very important.

Encourage Prospects to Take Action

Once someone lands on your LinkedIn profile now you want to be giving them something of immediate, tangible value in order to get them to take action and you do this by placing ‘calls to action’ (CTA) in your profile.

Importantly, you have to provide value in your profile to prospects that builds goodwill and entices them into wanting to know more about you because they want more high value content from you for free.

In return for that, your prospects will ultimately give you their name and their email address so they can get access to some particularly high value content, like a case study, or a white paper for example.

Once you have their email address and name you can start sending automated educational materials via email that further preconditions them to wanting to invest with you – and it all starts at the top of your Investor Acquisition System funnel with your LinkedIn profile.
