Increase your visibility online by creating a post on a social media platform. In order of importance:
By presenting high value posts on social media, you become visible and known. And the more you post, the more you become seen as an authority.
Pro-tip: Every single post must have a 'call to action' known as as 'CTA' in digital marketing, that redirects readers to a page on your website.
Step 2 - A PAGE
Readers of your social media posts who click on your post CTA are redirected to a page on your website.
That page should deliver something of value. For example, it might be an article about:
- Important lessons you've learned in real estate
- Access to a free eBook
- An article on how to save taxes using real estate
Pro-tip: Whatever the article is about, it must reflect you and to your personal value proposition and unique selling points.
Step 3 - A FORM
This is how you build your list so make it as easy as possible for your prospects to ask for more information from you by including a lead-generation form in every article.
Minimum parts of a lead-generation form:
- First name
- Email address
- Brightly colored button
Pro-tip: you can include many other fields when generating leads like 'are you an accredited investor?' or last name, company name, phone number etc., but keep it super simple at first and ask for that other information later.
Step 4 - FOLLOW UP
Automate Your Response
When someone is interested enough to actually give you their name and email address, you must immediately follow up.
You do this by setting in place a series of automated emails that begin the nurturing process by providing further value to prospects and deepening your relationship with them.
Pro-tip: Remember - this is the same process as when you meet someone in person. You introduce yourself and then follow up with high value information. The beauty of automating the process is that it eliminates the need to repeat yourself time and again with the same answers to the same questions with each new prospect.
