Reason #1

It's not easy to raise capital online

For some reason, people equate raising capital online with putting up a website and watching money pour in.


I get it. That’s what attracted me to digital marketing in the first place (more on that later).


I thought it would be easy to set up the systems and processes for raising capital online; heck, hasn't every other industry been selling their products online for years?


Well, it's NOT easy and there was an immense learning curve I had to go through.


That said, I learned from the industry leaders, consolidated best-of-class practices and have developed the most advanced proprietary programs for capital formation in the industry.

But it took lots of work, frustration, and learning from my mistakes to get there.

Reason #2

If you don’t have a long term perspective, raising capital online is NOT for you.

The first thing I learned when I started building online programs for real estate developers to raise money, was that the more things change, the more they have stayed the same.


Let me explain.


You are a seasoned real estate developer.  You know exactly what it takes to raise money from investors.


First you have to meet a prospect, get acquainted, explain your background.  Only then can you pitch your deal. 


This process can take years, sometimes decades, before an investor has enough confidence in you to part with their hard earned savings and trust you with it.


Online it's the exact same, only instead of in-person, you're going to digitize and automate the process, and although it won't take years, it's still going to take several months of consistent effort to start to see results before you can dramatically scale your equity raises.


Now don't be too worried about this; $billions are being raised and I can show you exactly how to do it, but if you think it's going to be a cakewalk, you're in the wrong place.


Reason #3

If you’re looking for last resort capital, I don’t want to help you.

It’s important you understand what I’m telling you.


I am not going to help you raise money online if you have no other options, no other sources for capital, or are attempting to create an online persona that is anything but the authentic you.






Prudent investors are risk averse and if you don't already have a good pipeline for capital, good deal flow, and a solid track record then you are not going to be able to sustain the momentum you need online to be successful.

Plus, I only work with sponsors who have a long term perspective and that means you must truly believe in your investment thesis, in what you are doing, and you must have a legitimate story.


We don't build systems for fake-it-till-you-make it sponsors.


In short, you should only be looking at online capital formation if you don't really need it, as counter-intuitive as that sounds.
